Dilena Takeyama Center Seeks Scholarship Applications

Applications are being sought for scholarships offered by the Dilena Takeyama Center for the Study of Japan and Japanese Culture.

The program is intended to support San Francisco State University students who plan to utilize their studies and future careers in ways that promote improved relationships between the United States and Japan.

Scholarships for domestic and international students are available, as follows:

$3,500 Dilena Takeyama Center Scholarship for Study Abroad in Japan: Up to two scholarships in the amount of $3,500 for each SF State student to participate in year-long CSU/SF State certified Study Abroad institution (California State University International Programs or SF State Bilateral Exchanges) in Japan.

$8,000 Dilena Takeyama Center Scholarship for International Exchange Study at SF State: Up to two scholarships in the amount of $8,000 for each student from Japan holding a F1 Visa with a Japan passport to attend San Francisco State University.
