From Relief to Rebuilding: How Can You Help

Join us for presentations by student and community leaders on current projects focusing on rebuilding efforts in Japan organized by the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California and the Richard Oakes Multicultural Center. Presentations will be made by Kaz Maniwa and Dianne Fukami of the JCCCNC and Miya Yung, a student, who will lead participants through a hands-on activity.

Presented in conjunction with "Voices from Japan: Tanka--After the Tsunami," an exhibit of tanka poetry, photographs, video, calligraphy and other elements that capture the feelings of loss and hope felt by the Japanese in the wake of the 2011 earthquake and disaster. Jan. 28-Feb. 15 in the Art Gallery, Terrace Level, Cesar Chavez Student Center.
