Space

見る A poem by Lorisa Salvatin

Space

Enough to ease my fill

and follow the rhythm

of the rivers flow,

and high above

the hum of life among the leaves.

With the sky before me,

my thoughts roam in my still.

The air so thick,

I sink into its warmth,

painted

across these peaks.

The breeze,

silent in the open air,

to slope back down

among the trees,

tracing the rise and fall

of this canopy.

To breathe.

This is mine to keep.
